Talaya Trigueros is the Radio and Records award winning and top rated mid-day Air Personality here on 94.7 The WAVE.
Beginning in radio 33 years ago in her hometown of Albuquerque, New Mexico she celebrates her 20th Anniversary on “The WAVE” September 19th of this year!
For ten years she hosted a Latin Music show for the Armed Forces Radio Network called “Nuestra Musica” playing Rock en Espanol, Mariachi, Salsa and Latin Pop for our soldiers worldwide. Ms. Trigueros has been the “Voice “of various radio stations including The Oasis in Las Vegas, KSJZ Reno, WLVE Miami, WLOQ Orlando and KEZL Fresno. She also voice tracked a full time show for KYOT in Phoenix for five years.
Fully bilingual she has contributed as a Voice Over actress to many successful advertising campaigns in both English and Spanish.
A member of the Millenium Choir, she sang for Pope John Paul IV during the 1999 Christmas celebration in Italy at the Vatican.
You can also hear her on background vocals with the GRAMMY winning group Evanescence on their first two releases and on Nyee Moses’ new project.
Talaya is currently developing her own line of jewelry called Talaya Designs. She looks forward to developing other projects under her newest endeavor. TalayaDesigns.com is currently under development!
In 2007 she was the announcer of the Imagen Awards at the Disney Hall and in 2003 for the Screen Actors Guild Awards at the Shrine Auditorium. She also voices and hosts various projects for the Latino Theater Group and the Los Angeles Theater Center.
Always contributing to non-profit organizations her commitment to the community is sincere and genuine.
With her upbeat, down to earth and genuine personality her daily goal is to inspire and be inspired.
Talaya’s family and loved ones are a priority for her and is what makes everything worth it.
