Guests: Two representatives of the California Employment Development Department, Eddie Purtuas, Employment Programs Manager, and Gentry Humphrey, Veterans Programs Coordinator, came in to promote the upcoming “State of California’s Hire A Hero, Hire A Vet Job and Resource Fair,” taking place on Tuesday, November 13^th.  They also talked about the many problems that cause so many veterans to be unemployed, homeless and in need of a variety of social services including drugs, alcohol and mental illness.
