Guest: John Youn and Max Mikhaiel, Co Directors of Drive Kids to be Fit, shared insight into their mission to educate, inspire and provide free fitness and nutritional training, summer camp, activities, educational materials, as well as family mentoring to promote a healthy lifestyle for kids whose health is at risk from an overweight lifestyle. The latest statistics show that approximately 30.3 percent of children (ages 6 to 11) are overweight and 15.3 percent are obese. For adolescents (ages 12 to 19), 30.4 percent are overweight and 15.5 percent are obese (American Obesity Association). Drive Kids To Be Fit is also a part of Governor Schwarzenegger's Healthy Action Programs coalition supporting the proposed policy which will reward people and their children who take preventative health actions by participating in weight reduction and diabetes management programs

The event is set for Saturday, February 2nd, 1:30pm - 4:00pm at Raleigh Studios in Hollywood. Guest Panelists include Award Winning Actor/Singer Loretta Devine; Eddie Steeples, Actor/Producer/Director /Writer Rapper and Visual Artist; Hollywood’s leading Award Winning Stuntwoman, April Weeden-Washington; Emmy nominated Choreographer Travis Payne and Bill Duke who also shared some insight into a few of the projects he is working on, projects that focus on morality and redemption and emphasize cultural history and family values.
